I have done online marketing for many years, and I’ve come to realize that Pareto’s Principle is eerily correct when it comes to digital marketing. Now, what is Pareto’s Principle? Long story short, Pareto is a pretty famous economist who lived in the 1800’s, and he said that 80% of your results will come from 20% of your effort. So, with that stat in mind, here is a concept, one of the best advertising ideas I know, that has wide-reaching effects but requires minimal effort.
Improving Site Speed
A lot of business owners ignore the granular side of SEO, which is a shame because the technical stuff is often easier than writing high-quality articles that enrapture your audience. Forbes says this about improving site speed:
Site speed has been an important ranking factor for a while now, but with increasing competition and user access on more devices, speed is more important than ever. Maximize your site speed by implementing a clean caching system, reducing the size of your images, and getting rid of unnecessary clutter in your back-end.
Taking advantage of this concept is a very good idea because it pleases both Google and your visitors. These days, in a world of instant gratification, people are not interested in waiting too long to see an unfamiliar webpage, even if they feel it has potential. If your page is taking 5-10 seconds to load, you might need to reevaluate your current marketing plan.
